Still have questions about therapy?
Here are answers to our most asked questions about counseling.

We are located at 120 Eldridge Rd, Suite D, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Our office space has a flower wreath outside the door, you can't miss it!

Absolutely! We offer online therapy as an alternative option for in-person therapy through our HIPAA compliant client portal, Simple Practice.
Online therapy is confidential, convenient, flexible, and can be completed anywhere that you are; whether you are at home, your office, in your lunch break, or out of town, we can accommodate for your schedule and life circumstances.
Our clients who prefer online sessions usually do so because they may live far away, are traveling for work or leisure, and/or prefer the convenience telehealth provides by participating in therapy at home.
There are a few requirements to meet online.
1) You must be in the state of Texas
2) You must have a reliable way to connect and attend a video session.

Each of our clinicians has a session fee ranging from $150-$165 per 50 minute session.
We do at times offer longer sessions as needed or requested by clients. Those would have and adjusted rate depending on the length of session.

The first appointment is all about your counselor getting to know you, and you getting to know your counselor. It is a time to ask any questions you have about the counseling process and about your counselor's approach to therapy. We will take the time to explore the reason(s) that led you to seek counseling, your background and history and, most importantly, where do you want to go from here. With that information, we will identify possible goals we will set for counseling and explore how we will meet those goals through working together in your healing journey.

This is always a tricky question to answer because the truth is that it depends! Every person and every situation is unique. For some clients, 6-12 sessions for individuals, and 8-20 sessions for couples, is enough time to get to where they want to be. For other clients, therapy may last more sessions depending on what we are needing to work through. Typically, clients who have experienced complex trauma, intimate partner betrayal, and/or chronic stressors may require more sessions to meet therapy goals.
Our approach is to create a space for clients to experience lasting hope and deep healing in themselves and their relationships, not surface- level results that may temporarily create relief but do not create enduring, meaningful change.

Unfortunately, we do not take insurance. We have found that making this choice has helped us to spend our time and focus dedicated more to our clients rather than having to manage extra paperwork for insurance.
With that said, we do not want finances to be a barrier for clients to get the help they need!
Because of that, we have decided to offer our clients a sliding scale rate depending on client's financial situation and clinician's availability on waitlist for sliding scale.
We do accept HSA/FSA cards, credit cards, checks and cash as forms of payment.
