“The wound is the place where light enters you” - Rumi
Healing is experienced when we attune to the wounds that remind us of our inner strength, the light within.

I enjoy working with individual adults and couples who are seeking to establish healthier relationships with self and with others, whether it is for complicated grief and trauma processing, affair recovery, addressing low self-esteem, or coping with depression and anxiety. I collaborate with clients to create rhythms and habits that cultivate hope, healing, wholeness and health in every aspect of their daily lives.

I specialize in working with couples through using the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman concepts, empirically validated treatment models that assist couples with creating adaptive ways of addressing ineffective conflict patterns, building intimacy, identifying unmet relational needs and growing in emotional connection.
I also specialize in working with individuals who are navigating grief, past trauma, anxiety, depression and interpersonal issues. Utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family System (IFS) techniques, clients can begin to identify the root of their emotional and relational distress by reflecting on the connection between their thoughts, behaviors and feelings within the context of their relationships with self and with others.

I earned a Masters of Arts from Asbury Theological Seminary in their CACREP accredited Mental Health Counseling program. from Asbury Theological Seminary. My seminary education provided me the opportunity to explore the relationship between psychological science and spirituality, and the value of psychological research alongside faith practices. If requested by a client, I can offer Christian Counseling as a way to integrate faith and spiritual practices while also addressing mental health concerns.
I have training in Trauma Informed Care, Grief, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). which I now use as my primary way of collaborating with clients to meet their treatment goals..
I would be honored to collaborate with you in your journey towards wholeness, hope, healing and health! Let's work together to build, what Dr. Marsha Linehan calls, a life worth living!
